Member Requirements
- Black Tie Club International is a private, gay men’s social club dedicated to good fellowship. The Club’s leadership at both the international and chapter levels is committed to maintaining the privacy of the membership lists. Soliciting members for business or commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.
- Members must be approved for membership by the leadership of the local chapter. Consideration will be given for membership after the applicant has attended 2 functions as a guest. Guest status is possible for no more than two functions.
- Members must be current in their Annual Dues paid to Black Tie Club International.
- Members must attend at least one function at their local chapter per year.
- The Black Tie Club dress code requires a tuxedo or formal dinner jacket at all formal dinners.
- All members are responsible for hosting an event within a reasonable rotation as set forth by the local chapter leadership. See Time – line for hosts organizing an event in Section 2 for more details.
- Members receive the Black Tie Club International Newsletter 4 times a year by mail and via email.
- Members may attend the dinners/events of any other chapter if there is space available. Contact information and the dates for chapter events are printed in the Newsletter. In addition, more timely information can also be obtained by visiting the website www.blacktieclubinternational.com
